You start with 7 stacks of cards ranging in size, a draw pile, and what is called a "foundation pile." Your goal is to get all of them into the foundation piles on top, starting with the Ace and counting up from there. With Klondike Solitaire, you must keep the cards suited as you build the foundation pile. One other key piece of Klondike Solitaire on this site is the ability to change your draw pile from 1 to 3 cards. This allows you to think ahead.

What's the difference between draw 1 and draw 3?
In draw 1, you turn over one card at a time from the draw pile, which makes the game easier. In draw 3, you turn over three cards at a time and only the top one can be played, so you need to plan ahead. Switching between them starts a new game.
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Use the Undo button at the top to take back your last move.
Can every game be won?
No. Cards are dealt at random, and in Klondike Solitaire some deals can't be won, even with perfect play. If you get stuck, press New game for a fresh deal.
